Group classes are as much fun as they are informative, besides being a very affordable way to continue your voice training. They can be in addition to private lessons or an alternative. There is something for everyone, beginner to advanced, all musical styles. All of my classes focus on technique, style and application to your songs, and camaraderie. MIXED VOICE – LET’S MAKE IT EASY!

The Mixed Voice (or whatever you choose to call it) is a confusing topic for so many singers and we all need it!  I find the problem is first due to lack of understanding and then, terminology.  Let me simplify and demystify it in this class!  We will do some simple speaking exercises and then apply it to singing.  I get singers applying this in the first lesson!  See how EASY Mixed Voice can be!

This will be a masterclass/workshop with vocal exercises for the entire group.  Our classes are always fun, with friendly singers from all over the world.  I will also take up to 5 performers (preferably a mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced level singers) from Victoria’s Vocal Exercise Program (VVVEP) who are having issues with their mix or blend.  I am allotting 2 1/2 hours.  If you cannot attend live, the class will be video recorded and available for 3 weeks to all who register.  I try to make all these programs very affordable so that more people can join.  The cost to perform will be $45 and I can only take 5 singers.  The cost for other participants will be $35.  Everyone must be a member of VVVEP.  After the singing, I will answer any questions.  If time permits, I may ask for volunteers to demonstrate an exercise.

Details:  Each performer will have up to 2 minutes to sing a part of a song with or without accompaniment.  I will give you a quick evaluation and exercises that you can do, approximately 8 minutes total per singer. This will be followed with the entire group participating in the exercises.  Singers learn from each other, so whether you perform solo or not, you will learn a lot!  *The only prerequisite for soloists is the ability to sing in tune because this class will not include ear training.  I will send all performers a questionnaire to complete ahead of time.

**To get the most out of the class, I will assign “homework” to complete in advance (just watching a few of my videos).
